Charles G. Kissel, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.
Dr. Charles Kissel is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and served as the Director of Podiatric Surgical Residency Training at the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University for over 30 Years. He has participated on the Michigan Board of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery and has chaired the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery’s Journal Committee. Dr. Kissel is a noted lecturer and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed medical journals.
Erik C. Kissel, D.P.M.
Dr. Erik Kissel is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Kissel is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He completed his surgical residency at the Detroit Medical Center. Most recently Dr. Erik Kissel has published a peer reviewed article on Lateral Malleolar Fracture with Concurrent Achilles Tendon Rupture. Dr. Erik Kissel is certified in advanced wound care treatment and hyperbaric medicine. He specializes in reconstructive and trauma foot & ankle surgery.
Lee M. Hoffman, D.P.M.,

Lee M. Hoffman, D.P.M. is a private practice physician of thirty years. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery, Quality Assurance and Wound Care; a member of Michigan and American Podiatric Medical Associations; certified nationally as a review physician; a consultant for workers’ compensation claims, peer reviews and multiple insurance companies; and is actively involved with residency training programs at many area hospitals.
Brian G. Kissel, D.P.M.
Dr. Brian Kissel is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Kissel is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. His surgical residency was completed at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr.Kissel is also the director of podiatric surgical training at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Brian Kissel specializes in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery and arthroscopy procedures.
Aimee A. Popofski, D.P.M.
Dr. Aimee Popofski is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She is an honor graduate from California College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her 3 year surgical residency at Northlake Medical Center in Tucker, Georgia. Dr. Aimee Popofski specializes in custom foot orthotics, forefoot surgery, and sports related foot injuries.
Raed Al-Gharib, D.P.M.
Dr. Raed Al-Gharib received his undergraduate education at Wayne State University and received his medical degree from Kent State University. Dr. Al-Gharib completed his residency at DMC hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to the United States in 2008. He is also fluent in Arabic and English. Dr. Al-Gharib specializes in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery, foot traumas, limb salvage and other elective foot & ankle procedures.
Lena Antoski, BSN, RN, AGPCNP-BC
Lena Antoski, N.P. received her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Oakland University and a Masters of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at University of Michigan. She worked as an RN in the intensive care unit at Royal Oak Beaumont for over 7 years and has gained over 10 years of wound care experience. Lena continues to provide Infectious disease and primary care inpatient at Beaumont Hospital and Henry Ford Macomb. Her area of interest includes working with patients on Fall Risk Prevention.

Tariq Elagamy, D.P.M.
Tariq Elagamy, DPM. is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from Kent State University. He completed his surgical residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan. During his residency, he presented at state and national scientific conferences and he maintains an active research role in practice. Dr. Elagamy specializes in elective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and limb salvage.
Robert P. Rubin, D.P.M.
Robert P. Rubin, DPM. has retired as of June 2023. Dr.Rubin has been in private practice in the Livonia area for over 30 years. We wish him the best of luck in his retirement.
Robert Adas, D.P.M. is a private practice physician of general foot medicine. He has dedicated his 40 plus years in podiatry to the surrounding communitites of Huntington Woods and Farmington Hills. He also provides patient care to numerous senior centers in Oakland County. He is certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.
Michael Schey, D.P.M.
Michael Schey, D.P.M. has retired as of June 2018. Dr.Schey practiced for over 35 years and has treated thousands of foot & ankle conditions. We wish him the best of luck in his retirement.
